The 3rd girls had a great draw on the weekend vs Teddies and were still in search for their first win. The girls had a midweek fixture before exeat.
We started well and were playing a great brand of hockey. Niamh Gilmore and Issy Gardner made some great runs down the right wing. Multiple short corners yet we couldn’t quite find the net. A great run by Issy, supplied a ball to Nancy Gillingham on the far post. We ended 1-0 up in the first half.

The second half started well. The girls were keen to get a second! An outstretched right boot by Sophie Rojas in the last 15 minutes kept us alive. Issy kept attacking and put our second goal in with 7 minutes to go.

2-0 final score and well deserved win! Many standouts but the work rate was what put us ahead.
