Game 1: Stowe v. Oundle

With a much longer warm than expected, I was concerned that the boys may have been knackered even before the first whistle! They surprised me, as they played with a great intensity throughout. The structures we worked on in training came to fruition which really impressed me. The boys offloading rugby was also a highlight for me. We had some big ball carriers in the first game such as Ozzie V, Joe L, Billy B, Rudy S and James C. Our backs also carried positively with Lewis W, Jolyon T and Oli E. Overall, a big performance from the team.

Game 2: Stowe v. Bedford 36 - 7

In this game we really got the ball moving out wide with good calls from Jake L and Jolyon T. This shows such a difference when compared with last week's performance. The resilience to bounce back was admirable. I am really looking forward to what we can do in the next few weeks.

When I was reffing I forgot to keep a note of the try scorers, so I will email the team now and see if they can fill in the gaps! Hopefully I can get them on here by tomorrow for you to see.
