It was nice to be given a bit of space on the pitch so that our fluid and expansive attacking play could be put into action. Once we started linking passes between the forwards we got behind the opposition defence and this allowed the backs to run into the spaces and show their flair.

Ed Mercer won the Lion bar for back of the match, Blake McLeod won it for the forwards with a great display of ball carrying with vision and the skill to link and keep the ball alive rather than going to ground.

The sun was shining and we scored 11 tries on the North Front. Happy days!
